    What happens if the internet disconnects during a hypnotherapy session?


    If the internet disconnects, there’s no need to worry—you will naturally come out of the relaxed state on your own, usually within 15-30 minutes, as your mind naturally knows when to reorient itself. If you’re especially tired, you may simply enjoy a bit more rest. Your therapist will also have a backup way to reach you, like a phone call, to get things back on track quickly. And if all else fails? You’ll wake up feeling calm, refreshed, and ready to handle those Wi-Fi hiccups with a peaceful mindset!


    Contraindications & Client Requirements: For your safety and well-being, our services, particually hypnotherapy, may not be suitable for individuals with conditions such as epilepsy, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, clinican identity distortion, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other related disorders. Clients under the influence of substances cannot be seen for sessions.

    How should I prepare for the session?


    To ensure the best experience, please follow these guidelines:

    Mindset: Approach the session with an open mind and trust in the process.

    Hydration: Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water the day before. Reduce your fluid intake on the day of the session for maximum comfort.

    Caffeine: Minimize caffeine consumption prior to the session to help you relax.

    Environment:

         o Choose or set up a quiet, comfortable space where you will be undisturbed.

         o Choose a comfortable chair, recliner, couch, or bed where you can lean back and relax. While a regular chair is perfectly fine, a recliner, couch, or bed
             may offer even more comfort for your session.

         o Ensure there is soft lighting in the room to create a relaxed but visible setting.

         o Adjust the room temperature to your comfort level.

    Items to Have Ready: Bring anything you may want during the session, such as a cozy blanket or a device to play calming background sounds like rain, tribal music, or flute melodies.

    Video Setup: Position your camera to give the therapist a clear view of your upper torso, chest, stomach, and face. This ensures the therapist can monitor your breathing and facial expressions during the session.


    Will the session be recorded?


    Yes, the session will be recorded, and you will receive the recording via email within one week.


    How can I follow up after the session?


    We are here to support you! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions, concerns, or feedback after your session.


    Important Note: For safety and effectiveness, clients cannot attend sessions under the influence of any substances.


  • How Do I Make a Payment?

    We offer a variety of convenient payment methods to ensure a seamless experience:


    • Zelle Payment: Easily send your payment via Zelle to lphillips@mynd-matters.com


    • Cash (In-Person Only): Pay with cash at the time of your appointment.


    • Credit or Debit Card: Payments can be made securely at the end of your session, or an email for payment entry will be sent through Square’s secure, encrypted system.


    All payments are processed securely within 72 hours, excluding banking holidays.
